More than just a Pregnant Lady

It's not uncommon for women who are pregnant find themselves categorized more often as "a pregnant woman" than "a woman who happens to be pregnant", and while the distinction may seem small, it is a big one, especially in a field where pregnancy is neither typical nor generally considered an asset. While searching and interviewing for my first developer job - no small task on its own - I found that my search was frequently derailed due to the fact that I was expecting a child. I'd like to share some of my experiences and insights into the process of job searching while pregnant in the hopes that both employers and future mothers can better prepare for the hiring process.
